Duisburg is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a population of 487,000.Duisburg is a German city in the western part of the Ruhr Area (Ruhrgebiet) in North Rhine-Westphalia. It’s easy to get around by Tram, U-Bahn, S-Bahn, or Bus. The easiest way to buy a ticket is at a vending-machine (wich is available at all tram and train stations). A one-way ticket is 2,60º¬. With such a ticket (valid for 90 minutes), you can make use of every line within Duisburg. Changing between different lines is possible with a one-way ticket, but you are only allowed to travel in one direction.
